Packaging Room

A position in the
Packaging Room of the plant is considered introductory level and is
where most staff start their career. Our starting wage is
$12.04 per hour, to include an additional $1.00 shift
differential on nights. This is a full time position averaging
42 hours a week on a fixed two week repeating schedule. Shifts
are 12 hours in length and start at either 6:00 am or 6:00 pm. |

Position Description
The box maker is
responsible for the assembly of bulk cheese boxes according to schedule
and lining and prepping such boxes for fill point. Click

The fill
point position involves preparing, filling and monitoring bulk cheese
boxes; meeting box weight targets and preparing filled boxes for tilt
banks; and operating the collar wash. Click on the picture for

The seal
line is a two person team, responsible for sealing, weighing and
stacking finished product in excess of 700 lbs in cooler.

These
positions require the physical ability to frequently lift and carry 10
to 24 pounds and to push and pull 38 to 110 pounds. Good
mathematical skills required. Forklift experience is helpful. |
