The Milk Hauler position is in the Procurement Department of the plant.  This is a full-time position averaging 45 hours a week on a three week repeating schedule working 14 out of every 21 days.  The shifts are 10 hours in length.  The drivers work  two out of the three weekends.  The starting wage varies with experience.  Our Milk Haulers consistently make between $50,000 to $60,000 annually.  We are currently hiring for the night shift which starts between 2:00pm and 5:00pm.  There are no over the road hauls!

 

New applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Minimum age of drivers is 25 or above

  • At least two years of verifiable experience

  • Current Medical Certificates

  • Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL)

  • Current Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act (FMCSA) Physical Exam Certificate

  • Must allow Valley Queen to conduct pervious employment check (Last three years)

  • Must provide previous drug and alcohol test information (last three years)

  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) specifically with zero DUI's in the past five years

The Position has three major responsibilities

  • Safe Driving - Safe and efficient milk transportation from our producers' sites to the plant; and complying with DOT regulations and exercising defensive driving techniques.

  • Customer Service - Our haulers provide customer service to our producers by making deliveries to and from the plant, providing reports, and other service items.

  • Quality Testing - Our haulers perform quality testing on milk samples.
