The Fill Point position is in the Packaging Room of the plant and is considered an
introductory level position.
Our starting wage is $11.00 - $11.50 per hour, to include an additional $1.00
shift differential on nights. This is a full time position averaging 42
hours a week on a fixed two week repeating schedule. Shifts are 12 hours in
length and start at either 6:00 am or 6:00 pm. |
Quick Position Description
Major duties include:
preparing,
filling and monitoring bulk cheese boxes; meeting box weight targets and
preparing filled boxes for tilt banks; cleaning and sanitizing fill point
equipment. Good mathematical and charting skills
required.

Fill Point Management:
This position is responsible for the managing of boxes through
the automated fill point line, applying the webbing, collars, angles and
flats to filled boxes and starting boxes through the tilt banks.
Accurate records of each box must be maintained including: temperature,
weights and metal detection. |
Fill Point
Sanitation: The
day shift Fill
Point Operator is responsible for following plant CIP procedures to clean
and sanitize the fill point equipment. The process connections along with other equipment and the floor
must also be washed and rinsed daily. Additional special weekly cleaning
projects also exist. Good manufacturing practices must be followed at all
times when working with product, equipment and systems.
Individuals hired
for the night shift fill point position rotate between the packaging room positions
instead of end of day sanitizing.
